Our goal is to support and resource co-vocational and multi-vocational pastors and congregations. If that describes you, you are invited to join us for the Sacred Side Hustle retreat in Fort Qu'apelle, SK, from November 14-15, 2025.

The total cost of registration is $125, and you are invited to bring your spouse at no additional cost. Thanks to a generous grant, we are able to accommodate the remaining costs. To register for the retreat, first apply to join CoVocational Canada.

Sacred Side Hustle Retreat

  • Where is the retreat located?

    The retreat will be held at an Airbnb in Fort Qu'apelle!

  • What time does the retreat start/end?

    The retreat will begin at 3:00 pm on Friday, November 14th, and conclude at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 15th.

  • Is the retreat overnight?

    Yes, and each registrant will have their own private room (with their spouse if they also attend).

  • I'm Co-Vocational but my spouse isn't, am I still able to bring them?

    Yes! The registration cost is $125 (plus tax), and you are invited to bring your spouse at no additional cost; they are not required to be Co-Vocational.

Director of the Leadership Centre Ellen Duffield

Ellen Duffield is the Interim Program Coordinator for the Master of Arts in Leadership and Management program, Centre for Leadership Studies Coordinator and Co-Vocational Canada project lead at Briercrest Seminary and the founder of BraveWomen.ca. She is the author of several books and brings three decades of non-profit and church leadership experience as well as leadership consulting, coaching, and group facilitation.
