About the certification

Seminary 101 is a certificate created for spiritually mature Christians who want to deepen their theological and ministry understanding while navigating the commitments of everyday life. This 12-week, fully online certificate is taught live by Briercrest Seminary faculty, providing accessible theological education, spiritual formation, and a practical foundation in the Bible (Old and New Testament), Theology, Church History, and Pastoral Ministry. The Seminary 101 certificate has no required readings, tests, or assignments.

Sessions run on Thursdays, 6:00-9:00 PM CST, beginning Spring 2027. Seminary 101 may also count toward denominational credentialing requirements.
